LET IT SNOW

AS THE SNOW FALLS....everyone dusts off their shovels and makes their way outdoors.  This is the time to be very careful with your body. So many people come to me with severe pain in their back after a day of shoveling snow. A few key things to remember: keep your core tight! When you bend down, lift back up from the knees and exhale as you stand. This will help you squeeze your abdominal area. It may seem like a lot to remember, but this can help prevent hernias in your abdominal and inguinal (groin) area! Take care of your body.....as the snow falls down.
