It is one of the best cardiovascular exercises out there. Hence why we get out of breath so quickly.
So let's start improving our cardiovascular system and grab a jump rope. (Just a suggestion, don't borrow your children's, you'll most likely hit yourself in the head!) The best way to begin our journey to jumping rope is, start small. Two reasons: 1st-easy to get out of breath, 2nd-we get easily frustrated when we aren't able to do something that looks like such a simple task.
Let's set a goal of 10 repetitions total, not necessarily in a row and that's it.
Then we work or way up to eventually multiple sets of 50 repetitions.
