My last blog touched on back pain. One of it's major contributors can be a muscle called Psoas Major. It is the deepest muscle in your abdominal region. This muscle can cause pain not only in (especially) your low back but in the front of part of your thigh as well. I am going to be putting out a youtube video about it with more information, that will be very surprising, by the beginning of next week. For now here is a stretch you can do to help alleviate some of that pain, if Psoas Major is the cause!

How many of you suffer from upper and/or lower back? The actual problem is not usually where the pain is! Are you at a computer for long periods of time or have a long commute in traffic? These are all factors that go into causing pain through both there areas. On my next blog I will go more into depth about a muscle that can cause pain in a good portion of the front of your body as well as the back! In the mean time check your posture and stretch your body. This often brings some relief!
