Chew your food!

CHEW EACH BITE OF FOOD 20 TIMES!!!

WHAT?!? I know many of you are thinking WHY and WHO has time for that! Here are several reasons why it is important.
1) If we don't chew what we eat it can't be broken down and ABSORBED into our SYSTEM. So we LOSE out on GETTING ENERGY from that food.
2) FOOD NEEDS TIME TO DIGEST. Have you ever felt sick to your stomach after eating too much? It takes about 15-20 mins for our stomach to signal the brain it is full. This is one of the reasons people can't control or GAIN WEIGHT.
3) ENJOY and actually TASTE YOUR FOOD! When you eat your favorite food you can't fully taste it if you don't chew it more than 4-5 times, which seems to be an average with many people.
TAKE THE CHALLENGE: Eat one meal properly and are what happens!
