The Power of Music can be AMAZING! As we move forward toward our goals to become healthier, let's literally stop and listen to the music. Think to yourself how can music benefit me. Here are many ways I implement different styles into my day.
-Softer music to ease me awake always!
-Salsa to get the a.m. routine going,
  especially when I'm lagging behind.
-Then my music changes to fit what my
  clients need. Anywhere from power
  cardio workout music to upbeat
  oldies for different personal training
  clients. My massage therapy clients
might want anything from soft music
  to alternative types. The important
thing to take away is, I utilize music
to help my clients achieve their goals!
- Myself, I use cardio dance music
not only during my workouts but to get
pumped up to workout as well!
-Lastly, when I need to unwind, some
great alternative can be in the list or use
softer tones to quiet my mind.

As I said before music is powerful!!!
It can affect our moods, motivate us and help us find peace amidst tumoil. Why don't you take a minute and see if integrating music can make a positive impact on your life!

GOOD LUCK and Congratulations in Advance on Your Success!

3) WHEN YOUR SHOULDERS AND NECK FEEL REALLY TIGHT-here is an easy exercise you can do. Squeeze your shoulders to your ears and hold for 10 secs, then let them relax down. Repeat 5 times and the results can be amazing!

Let's Go Old School!

For all of you out there that have a hard time getting your form correct trying to do a squat or are just bored with them,  here is an alternative. LET'S GO BACK TO SCHOOL-WALL SITS!!! Wall sits are a great exercise and you can do them ANYWHERE! All you have to do is sit against a wall. To get the correct form pretend you are sitting in a chair-except there's no chair. For beginners I suggest 10-15 secs, rest, then try again. To take it to the next level for those who are more experienced, bring your arms overhead during the wall sit. Don't worry it won't take long before you feel it in your whole body!
GOOD LUCK and Congratulations on Advance in Your Success!!!

3 Ways Not To Over Eat While Out To Eat

Here are 3 ways to avoid over eating.
  1. Drink a glass of water before your meal
Ask for a to go container. When you are served your food, cut it in half, put it in the container and now you have another small meal for later.
  3. Taste your food! Studies show it takes at least 15-20 min for your brain to register it is full. By this time most people are already done with their meals and don't realize they ate too much until they feel their belly pressing against their pants. In order to avoid that, chew eat bite ~20 times. I know this seems like a lot but it helps with digestion and it's a way to to slow down so your body can tell you it is full!
GOOD LUCK And Congratulations on Your Success in Advance!
